Chocolate loaf cake

 Chocolate loaf cake

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.

Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it and placing it on a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy!

Note: You can add some chocolate chips or nuts as add-ons before baking, also you can adjust sugar quantity if you need it sweeter or less sweet.
