 DIY Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping




Ingredients

A quarter of a cup of chocolate chips ( 1 1/4 Chocolate Chips)

50 ml of coconut oil (measured when solid)

 

Method

Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil for approximately a minute in the microwave (depending on your microwave). After letting the chocolate chips rest for a few minutes to melt due to the heat of the oil, mix until smooth. It'll be dripping wet.


 
Add liquid to a bottle. A reused pickle relish bottle was employed. If you're going to refrigerate and then heat, we advise using a glass bottle.


 
Although it is likely to stay liquid in the summer without refrigeration, store in the fridge. To prepare, microwave the glass bottle (open cap) for 30 seconds or until liquid. If the mixture is not liquid after the first 30 seconds, stir and keep heating for another 30 seconds at a time. Pour over your preferred ice cream, and magic will appear in a matter of seconds!
