Turkish delight pan brownies
1 cup (240g) unsalted butter
2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1/2 cup (60g) cocoa powder
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (160g) chopped Turkish delight
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x13 inch (23x33cm) baking pan.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sugar.
Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract.
Fold in the chopped Turkish delight.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
Let the brownies cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting and serving.
Note: You can make your own Turkish delight or use store-bought. Some variations of Turkish delight includes pistachio, rosewater, lemon or orange. You can also top your brownies
